William (Billy) Henderson

It is with deep sadness that Billy’s family shares the news of his passing on 27th October 2023 following a bravely fought illness. He died peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the care of the wonderful staff at the Galway Clinic.

Dear husband of Liz and much-loved father of Aileen, Sean and Mark. Billy will be fondly remembered by his wife and children, his brother George and sister Kate; also by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, his extended family in Scotland and Ireland; friends, neighbours, past and present employees of Henderson Fire and Safety Ltd., customers and business colleagues.

Reposing at the O' Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) on Monday, 30th October, from 5.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, 31st October, at St. Nicholas' Collegiate Church, Lombard Street, Galway (H91 PY20) at 11 a.m. Private cremation to follow at 4 p.m. Live streaming available at Shannon Crematorium link http://shannoncrematorium.com/
