William (Billy) Hughes

William (Billy) Hughes, Lowtown, Coralstown, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, passed away peacefully on 9th November 2024, following a brief illness, surrounded by his devoted wife and family, and in the exceptional care of the staff at Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore. Predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Mary, sisters Betty, Mae, and Cathy his brother Pauge. Billy was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his wife and best friend Josie, his sons Jonathan, Declan, and Fergal, his daughter Marina, and his treasured grandchildren Conor, Sean, Miranda, Liam, Caoimhe, and Oisin. He is also lovingly remembered by his son-in-law Davy, daughters-in-law Marmie and Fiona, nieces Margaret, Marie, and Mary, along with extended family, neighbours, and friends.

Billy will repose at St. Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel on Wednesday, 13th November from 4 pm with prayers at 6 pm. Funeral Mass will be held in St. Agnes Church, Coralstown at 12 pm on Thursday (14th November) burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
