William (Billy) McLavin

Mr. William (Billy) McLavin Brosna Unit, Cluain Lir Care Center Mullingar and formerly Castletown Geoghegan, Co. Westmeath. Peacefully on the 28th February 2024 in the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar in his (80th) year after a long illness bravely borne in the tender care of nurses and staff surrounded by his devoted family. Billy is predeceased by his parents, sisters, brothers. Billy will be sadly missed by his family, brother Paddy, sisters Agnes, Eileen and Bernadette, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, devoted nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, his friends in the Brosna Unit in Cluain Lir Care home and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Cluain Lir Chapel of Rest, Longford Road, Mullingar N91 T267 on Friday evening from 6pm-7pm. Removal to St. Paul’s Church, Delvin Road, Mullingar arriving 7.30pm approx. Funeral mass on Saturday morning at 1pm in St. Paul’s Church, Delvin Road, Mullingar which can be viewed on www.mullingarparish.ie. Burial thereafter in Ballyglass Cemetery Mullingar.

Billy's family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Brosna Unit in the Cluair Lir Care Center for their kindness and care they have shown to Billy in his final years.
