Peacefully at home on 25th February 2026, surrounded by his family and under the care of Dr Kershaw's Hospice Palliative care, Caring Hands and Hospice at Home teams.

 

 

Beloved husband of Kathleen (née Hunt).

Cherished father of Geraldine, Noreen, Catherine and Liam and their respective partners Kit, Kevin, Joe and Angela. Much loved grandad to Edi and Joe.

Sadly missed by his brother Gerry and sister-in-law Eileen.

Fondly remembered by his dear nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents William and Nora and brothers Tom, Johnny, Kevin, Francis, Eamon and James.

Always remembered by his extended family members, friends and neighbours.

The family wish to thank you for your support, kindness and messages at this difficult time.

Reposing at home on Monday 23rd March.

House private please.

 

Funeral mass at Our Lady and St Patrick's RC Church, Oldham (OL8 1DL) at 12 noon on Tuesday 24th March and burial at Green acres Cemetery, Oldham (OL4 3HT) at 1.30pm.

Followed by a reception at Grains Bar Hotel, Oldham (OL1 4SX), all very welcome.

Family flowers only please donations if desired to Dr Kershaw's Hospice, Oldham.
