Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Sligo University Hospital. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters and grandson Alan Doyle. William will be sadly missed by his daughter Jacinta, grandchildren Tracey, Shane, Geselle and Andia.

Reposing at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo, F91 YR61 on Sunday 14th December 2025 from 3:00pm to 4:30pm. Requiem mass will take place in St Anne’s Church, Sligo on Monday 15th December at 11:00am followed by burial in Sligo Cemetery.
