William Cottrell

Willie passed away suddenly but peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday, 24th August 2024 in the wonderful care of the staff at Gowran Abbey Nursing Home. Willie was predeceased by his wife Claire. Willie is sadly missed by his daughter Mary (Aylward), sons William and Joe, son-in-law Liam, daughters-in-law Lindsey and Siobhán, grandchildren Lucy, Ciara, Julie, Aoife, Tara, Liam, Ciarán, Seán, Rory and Cillian, sister Maura O'Neill, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

May Willie Rest in Peace.

Reposing in the Mercy Side Chapel of the Church of the Assumption, Thomastown on Wednesday, 28th August from 5.30pm to 7pm with Vigil Prayers at 6.45pm. Requiem Mass at 11am on Thursday in St Columcille's Church, Inistioge followed by interment in Cappagh Cemetery, Inistioge, Co Kilkenny.
