William Davitt (Westport Road and Curradavitt, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo and formerly U.K. and U.S.A.) September 18th 2023: Peacefully in the wonderful care of Dr. Jerry Cowley and staff of St. Brendan's Unit Mulranny, surrounded by his family. Loving son of the late Patrick & Bridget (née Gavin), predeceased by his sister Bridie Mc Greal. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his loving brothers and sisters P. Joe (Coventry), Johnny (Shrarooskey), Mary Ward (Florida), Anne Sterling (S. Carolina), Kathleen Quade (S. Carolina), James (Louisburgh), Frank (Curradavitt), Austie (Louisburgh), & Walter (Curradavitt), sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand nephews & nieces, cousins, extended Gavin & Davitt families and a wide circle of friends.
Requiescat In Pace
WIlliam will lie in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home Louisburgh on Sunday (Sept. 24th) from 5:00pm, concluding with Vigil Prayers at 7:00pm, followed by removal to the Church of the Holy Family, Killeen. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday at 11:00am, followed by Service of Committal at Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Rd., Cavan at 4:30pm.
Family flowers only donations in lieu, if desired, to St. Brendan's Unit Patient Comfort Fund or Fr. Peter Mc Verry Trust, donate HERE or c/o Sweeney Funeral Directors, Louisburgh.
