William Hallissey
HALLISSEY, WILLIAM A. (Floral Park, NY, USA and formerly of Churchfield Terrace East, Cork City).
On September 23rd, 2023 unexpectedly at home in New York; survived by Ann, his wife of 41 years, his daughters Katherine and Karin (Steele) and son-in-law Eric. Deeply regretted by his brother Jim, sister Irene (Sheehan), brother-in-law Neilus, nieces Tracy, Nancy, Louise and Eleanor, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins. Predeceased by his sister Marie (Mannion). William worked at York Scaffold Equipment Company for 27 years before retiring in 2013. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Cremation took place in New York.
Requiem Mass on Thursday, October 26th, at 11am in St. Mary's on the Hill Church, Knocknaheeny. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
