The death has occurred of
William Hegarty
Hegarty, Mayfield and formerly of Roches Buildings Cork.
On July 2nd 2025, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of the staff Mercy University Hospital, Cork.
Predeceased by his parents Dan and Helen, his sisters Marcella and Rose.
William (Retired ESB) will be sadly missed by Noreen (Née O’Driscoll) his children Joseph, Regina, Vivian, Norma, Denise, Paul and Annmarie. His brothers Finbarr, Anthony, John and Donal (Gerard).
His adored grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Keohane’s Funeral Home, Knights Hill, Mayfield on Friday 4th July from 5pm to 6 pm with prayers at 5.45pm.
Reception into St. Joseph’s Mayfield on Saturday 5th July for Requiem Mass at 10.00.am which will be live streamed

Followed by cremation service at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy at 12.00noon live streamed (HERE)
