William J (Billy) Ellis

ELLIS William J. (Billy), (Raheny, Dublin 5 and formerly of engineering dept. of P&T, now Eircom), died 9th February 2023, peacefully at home in his 100 th year. Predeceased by his wife, Betty, son, Pearse and sister, Kathleen, he was deeply loved and will be very sadly missed by his daughters Liz, Marian, Christine and Kathryn, daughter-in-law, Jacqui, sons-in-law Joe, Jimmy and Gerry, grandchildren Macdara; Karen, Laura, Sean; Mark; Claire, Sophie and Shane and their partners (Benitha, Paul, Niall, Rachelle and Sinead), great grandchildren (Mollie, Rian and Ivy), nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Our grateful thanks to those who looked after him in his final weeks (the HSE district nurses,
Ann’s home care team and St Francis hospice home care team).

Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Springdale Road, Raheny, on Tuesday (14th February) from 3pm – 5pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (15th February) to the Church of Our Lady of Divine Grace, 
Raheny arriving for funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in St Fintan’s cemetery, Sutton.
