William John (Liam) Browne

Announcing the peaceful passing of William John Browne (known as Liam) on Saturday 9th August 2025 in the loving care of his family and the staff at Ethelred Nursing Home, Histon, Cambs. England. Born Carlow 1937.

 

Predeceased by his loving wife Eileen and parents John and Josephine. Liam will be greatly missed by his adoring sisters Mary-Jo and Madeline and loving sons Anthony, Liam, Kieran and Fergus. Greatly loved and missed by Sandra, Amigrace and David and his grandchildren Connor, Laura and Niamh.

 

Remembered and loved by all the cousins and relatives from the Browne's, Doyle's, Farrell's, Hanley's, Casey's and Maguire's and all other relatives and friends far and wide.

 

A loving Husband, a wonderful Father and Grandfather, caring Uncle and loving, caring friend to so many.

 

May he Rest In Peace.

 

Funeral mass at 1030 on Wednesday 3rd September in St Etheldreda's, Egremont Street Ely, Cambs, England, followed by a private cremation. The funeral service will be streamed online details available from family and funeral directors.
