WILLIAM (Liam) BOHANE

LIAM BOHANE (Aghada and formerly of Ballycotton and his beloved Castletownshend). On 27th May 2025 Liam passed away peacefully, after an extended illness, cared for by his loving family.

Beloved father of Sean, Mary, Hilda, Margaret, Fiona, Ethna and Billy.

Sadly missed by his loving children and their mother Anne (née Walsh), sons-in-law Jimmy O’Reilly, Mairtín Foy, Declan Devoy and Barry Cashman, daughters-in-law Clodagh Drennan and Vania Bohane. Also sadly missed by his grandchildren Brian, Eoin, Sean, Finbarr, Ellen, Liam, Ronan, Fia, Muireann, Roisín, Con, Anne, Lilly, Olivia, and Adam, great-grandchildren Tom and Finn, extended family and his dear friends and his wonderful sailing friends from Kinsale Yacht Club and Royal Cork Yacht Club.

Reposing at Hyde’s Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton P25VW02 on Thursday 29th from 5pm – 6.30pm

Requiem Mass in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton on Friday 30th at 11am.

Cremation Service at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy on Saturday 31st at 12pm.

Mass will be available to view LIVE ONLY on the Parish TV Saorview Channel and on www.midletonparish.ie
