William (Liam) Brennan

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our very much loved father, grandfather and brother William (Liam) Brennan, in St. Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny.

Pre deceased by his mother Elizabeth and father Patrick, son John Oliver, daughter Martina, and brothers James and Patrick.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Millie, his sons; Patrick and Liam Óg, daughters; Annette, Mill, Catherine, Teresa, Jaqueline, and Nicola. His sisters; Ann Marie (Kilkenny) and Yvonne (Clive, New Zealand) and his brother John (Callan, Midleton and Dublin), his grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Liam was very proud of his age, as he was in his “92nd year” and he spent over 40 years working with the Electrical Supply Board (ESB) and he retired at 59. Liam and his wife Millie were married for 63 years.

Liam will repose at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Freshford, R95 C44T from 5pm to 7pm on Sunday 22nd February 2026, with prayers following at 7pm sharp.

Mass will be held on Monday 23rd February 2026 at 11am in the Church of the Assumption, Tullaroan, Co. Kilkenny. Burial afterwards in Tullaroan Cemetery.
