O’Connell, Gweedore Ave, Mayfield (Late of Morrises Lane, Off Blarney Street and Catford, London)

On the 10th of April 2025. After a long illness bravely borne in the exceptional care of all the staff at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork surrounded by his family.

Liam (William), late of Beamish & Crawford, Cork. Much loved husband to Annette (née Carroll). Adored father of Tracey, Greg and the late Darren, beloved son of the late Jeremiah and Julie, brother of Der, Rita and the late Paddy, Doll, Christy, Shelia, Angela and Frankie.

Sadly missed by his loving family, cherished grandchildren Courtney, Gwen, Julian, Keelan, Ellie, Ava, Zack, daughter-in-law Sonya, nephews, nieces, extended family, great neighbours and large circle of friends.

Lying in repose in Keohane’s Funeral Home, Knights Hill, Old Youghal Rd, Mayfield, Cork, on Sunday, 13th of April, from 3-4pm with prayers at 3:45pm. Requiem Mass on Monday, the 14th of April, at the North Cathedral, at 12:00noon, which will be live streamed on the following Link

followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, which will be live streamed on the following Link
