William McCarthy (Rathgar, Dublin 6) 7th August 2025. William passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family, in the exceptional care of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross following an illness borne with strength and fortitude. William will be very sadly and deeply missed by his heartbroken wife Emma and their children Daniel, Helen and Lauren, his parents Declan and Emily, sisters, Olivia and Selina, brothers Joseph and Peter, his father-in-law Vincent and mother-in-law Rosarie, sisters-in-law Kate, Orla and Karen, brothers-in-law John and Stephen, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road (D6W N279) on Sunday afternoon (August 10th) between 3.30pm and 5.30pm. Removal on Monday morning to St. Joseph’s Church, Terenure (D06 CX23) for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by Cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross (D6W HY98). Family flowers only please, donations may be made to Our Lady’s Hospice. House Private.
