WILLIAM MURPHY

WILLIAM MURPHY (Castleredmond, Midleton and late of Tallow Street, Youghal) passed away peacefully on March 14th 2024 in the care of the staff at Cork University Hospital. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Nano (née Hennessy), his children Susan, Brian, Lorna and Claire, his treasured grandchildren Aisling, Kate, Leah, Anna, Daniel, Liam and Shane, sons-in-law Paul and Ger and daughter-in-law Annette.

Brother of the late Denis, brother-in-law of the late Michael, Brendan and Donal.

William will be sadly missed also by his brother Pa, sister Bridget, brother-in-law Don, sister-in-law Mary, Marguerite, Ina, Margaret and Nell, his many nephews and nieces, relatives, friends and work colleagues at Cork County Council.

Reposing at Hyde’s Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton on Saturday 16th from 6pm-7.30pm.

Requiem Mass on Monday 18th at 11am in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Mass will be available to view live on the Parish TV Saorview Channel and on www.midletonparish.ie
