William Purcell

On 18th of October. Unexpectedly but peacefully at Cork University Hospital in the exceptional care of the nurses and staff of Ward 4C.

Liam (William). Dear partner of the late Mary Dow, and loving father of Christina, Billy and the late Martin. Cherished uncle of Teresa. Predeceased by his brothers Tom, Pat, Sean, Martin and sister Peggy.

Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Sean Kieran, great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Harley, Evie and Dylan, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, brothers Jimmy, Michael and sisters Phil, Hannah and Mary, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and great neighbours.

Lying in repose in Keohane’s Funeral Home, Copley Street, Cork, on Tuesday, 22nd of October, from 5-6pm with prayers at 5:45pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 23rd of October, at St Finbarr’s, South Parish, at 11:00am which will be live streamed here, followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy which can be viewed by clicking here at 1:00pm.
