William (Willie) Carey

Formerly Dunderk, Slane, Co. Meath. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and the caring staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Pre-deceased by his parents Nora and Edward, twin sister Bridge and brothers Paddy, John and Jimmy.  Willie will be very sadly missed by his sisters Nancy, Mary and Nora, brother Tony, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.

May Willie Rest in Peace

Removal from St Joseph’s Chapel of Rest, Old Johnstown, Navan, on Wednesday evening at 5.45pm to arrive to St. Oliver’s Church Blackcastle for 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 10.30am.

Willie's Funeral Cortège will travel via the Slane road and pass his current residence in Belcourt and his home place in Dunderk, Slane en route to Kilberry cemetery for burial.

In compliance with the current HSE guidelines, a private Funeral Mass will take place for family, limited to 10 people. Please ensure social distancing and Public Health advice is adhered to.

For those who would like to attend the funeral but cannot due to the current restrictions, please leave a condolence message below.
