William (Willie) Cooney

COONEY, William (Willie) – 1st September, 2025 (Artane). Willie passed peacefully after a short illness in the presence of his loving wife and daughter, and in the wonderful care of the team at St. Francis Hospice, Raheny.

Willie was the devoted husband of Myra Kelly, beloved father of Aoife Kelly-Cooney, and adored uncle of Siobhan McKeown.

 

He will be sadly missed by his family, extended family, many friends and neighbours.

 

"May he rest in peace."

 

Reposing at home, on Thursday 4th September from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday morning to St. Brendan’s Church, Coolock arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by private cremation.

 

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to St. Francis Hospice.
