William (Willie) Fawcett

William (Willie) Fawcett, Coragh, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan and formerly of Carnroe, Scotshouse, Co. Monaghan.

Passed away peacefully on Monday the 15th of December 2025 surrounded by his loving family in the care of the staff of Lisdaran Unit for the Elderly.

Predeceased by his parents Rebecca and George and his sister Etta.

Sadly missed by his partner Sarah, his sister Maud Agnew (Redhills), brother-in-law Walter Keating (Newbliss), his nieces Doreen and Georgina, nephews David, Geoffrey and Andrew, Sarah's daughter Maria (Philip), Jessica, her son Thomas (Deidre), Emma, Ava and Conor, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Resting at Mullens Funeral Home, Cootehill, Co Cavan (H16FD25) on Tuesday the 16th of December from 5pm until 7:30pm.

Funeral will take place on Wednesday the 17th of December at 1pm in St Andrew's Church of Ireland, Aghnahola, Scotshouse, Co Monaghan (H23W226) followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only please, donations if so desired, in lieu of flowers to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care c/o George Hall Funeral Director or any family member.
