William (Willie) Geaney

Geaney (Skibbereen): On May 31st, 2024 peacefully in the tender care of the Doctor's, nurses and staff of Bantry General Hospital, William (Willie), after a short illness, Drishanemore, Skibbereen, beloved son of the late Michael & Annie Geaney, and loving brother of Michael & Teresa (O'Driscoll). Deeply regretted by his brother, sister, sister-in-law Teresa, brother-in-law Liam, nephews and their wives: Con & Sharon, Darren & Patricia, Shane & Ciara, grand-nephews Luke, Conor & Rian, grand-niece Aisling, relatives, kind neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing in Shanahans Funeral Home, Leap on Sunday, 2nd June from 5pm to 7pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Monday, 3rd June in St. Patrick's Cathedral, Skibbereen at 12 noon which will be live-streamed on www.skibbereenandrath.ie click on skibbereen webcam. Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Patrick's cemetery, Coronea, Skibbereen.
