William (Willie) Rooney

The death has occurred of William (Willie) Rooney late of Market Green, Balbriggan, peacefully, at Beaumont Hospital. Predeased by his mother & father Annie & Liam, bothers Dessie & Eric, sister Deirdre and grandchild Derek. Willie will be sadly missed by his loving wife Bernie, children Liam, Audrey, Barry, Derek and Catherine, sisters Jennifer and Catherine, brother Padraig, grandchildren Thómas, Jade, Nathan, Seán, Cian, Grace and Liam, great grandchildren Zach, Oisín & Evie. Loved by his daughters & sons in law, sisters and brothers in law, aunts & uncles, nieces and nephews, cousin and friends.

Reposing at his home on Friday, open to the public from 4pm onwards.

Funeral mass to take place on Saturday in S.S. Peter & Paul’s church Balbriggan at 11am, followed by burial in Balrothery cemetery.

Family request family flowers only and in lieu of this for donations to be made to St. Frances Hospice.
