William (Willie/Billy) O'Toole

O’Toole William (Willie/Billy) – 5th December 2025, (Drumcondra, and formerly of Knocklahard, Headford, County Galway), peacefully in The Mater Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

William will be very sadly missed by his wife Áine, children Frances, Bernard, Eoin, Liam and David, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister Nora, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

"May his gentle soul rest in peace."

The family would like to thank the staff in St Patrick’s Ward in the Mater Hospital for their excellent care of William.

Reposing in Staffords Funeral Home, Maypark, Donnycarney on Wednesday 10th December between 3pm and 5pm. The Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday the 11th December in Corpus Christi Church, Drumcondra, at 10am, followed by burial in Cargin Cemetery, Headford, County Galway, with approximate arrival time of 2.30-3.00pm to the Cemetery.
