Willie Brennan

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Willie on 14th December 2025, in his 95th year. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mae, his parents James and Mary, his brother Edward, and sisters Sadie, Mary, Bridie and Kitty.

Willie will be greatly missed by his son Jimmy, daughters Catherine, Mary and Carmel, his daughter-in-law Mary and sons-in-law Fergus, Noel and Brian. He will be sadly missed by his 14 grandchildren and great granddaughter.

Reposing on Tuesday December 16th in the Mercy Side Chapel, Church of the Assumption, Thomastown, R95YP97 from 4pm to 7pm pausing for prayers at 5:30pm. Requiem mass on Wednesday December 17th at 11am in the Church of the Assumption, Gowran followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The Brennan family would like to take this opportunity to thank most sincerely Willie’s wonderful carers and all the members of the Multidisciplinary Team who made it possible for Willie to spend his final years at home.
