Willie Gilchriest

Willie died peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Shannon Lodge Nursing Home, Roosky, Co. Roscommon, on 18th March 2024. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Rose, brothers Robbie, Jimmy, Christy, his loving niece Teresa (Killoe) and recently deceased brother Frank in England.

Willie will be sadly missed by his family, brother Tommy (England), sister Eileen, grand-nephew Raymond, niece Elaine, his relatives here in Ireland and in England, neighbours and friends.

Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts.

Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church St, Longford, (N39 KN66) on Tuesday 19th from 6pm concluding with prayers at 7pm.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday 20th at 11am in St. Mary's Church, Newtownforbes, Co Longford, followed with burial in the local cemetery.
