Willie Kavanagh

Clondalkin, Dublin / Sandymount, Dublin

Kavanagh Willie (Clondalkin, late of Sandymount and Brian McElroy Funeral Directors, Monastery Road, Clondalkin Village) August 7th 2020, (peacefully) after a long illness borne with his wonderful and unique sense of humour, beloved husband and best friend of Teresa, loving father of Robert, Paula, Siobhán, Audrey, Rachel, Wayne and Niamh and loving grandfather of Dean, Seán, Clionadh, Aislinn, Mallaigh, Sara, Niamh, Jack, Éabha and Dara Marie and great-grandfather of William. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons and daughters and their partners Emily, Paddy, Ozzey and Fatih, grandchildren, his great-grandson and his mother Silvana, brothers Des and Don, sister Eileen, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, colleagues, relatives, neighbours, his many friends and his beloved four legged pal Oscar.

 

May he rest in peace

 

In line with Government and H.S.E advice regarding public gatherings, a small private Funeral Mass of 50 family and friends will be held. His family would ask that over the coming days, everyone who knew Willie would take some time to light a candle or say a prayer in his honour. Those who cannot attend the Funeral Mass due to the current restrictions please feel free to leave a message in the condolence book at the bottom of the page.
