Willie O'Brien

The death has occurred of Willie O’Brien, Cappanahanna, Murroe, Co. Limerick 21st October 2025 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Mary, brother Patsy and son in law Niall O’Riordan. Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary (Nee Foley). Dearly loved father to Helen, Geraldine (O’Riordan), Patricia (Keane), Noreen (Phibbs), Davie and Liam, cherished grandfather to Kate, Leah, Jamie, Adam, Cathal, Saoirse, Lucia, Éabha, Chloe and Cillian. Deeply regretted by his loving family, brother Donal and sister Biddens (Troy), sons in law Denis, Ross and Liam and daughter in law Becky, brothers in law, sister in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Meehan’s Funeral Home, Newport on Saturday 25th October 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral arriving on Sunday 26th October 2025 to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Murroe (V94 A7Y5) for Requiem Mass at 11.30 a.m., burial afterwards in Rockvale Cemetery, Newport.
