Willie Thornton

Willie Thornton, Crosswood, Headford, Co. Galway, 3rd December 2024, in his ninety third year, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Mary (nee Hyland). He will be sadly missed by his sons Donal and Paul, daughters-in-law Salitra and Karen, adored grandchildren Dominic, Samantha, Kealan, Kayla and Darragh, nieces, nephew, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Carey's Funeral Home Headford (H91 E6X9) on Wednesday evening from 5pm with removal at 7pm to St. Mary's Church, Headford (H91 C9W8). Funeral Mass for Willie will take place on Thursday at 12 noon followed by burial in Cloughanover Cemetery. Mass can be viewed live on Headford Parish Facebook Page or www.churchtv.ie/headford. Donations if desired to Galway Hospice.
