Minnie passed away peacefully in her home with her family, on Wednesday 22nd April 2026, in her 100th year.

 

Predeceased by her husband Mick, parents, brother and sisters, son-in-law Tommy, granddaughter Mary and great grandson Eanna Eoghan.

 

Minnie will be deeply missed and always remembered with love by her children Maureen (Eamon) Carra, Margaret (Tommy RIP) Leitrim, Bridie (Tony) Duniry, John (Ann) New Inn, Bernie (Noel) Longford, Carmel (Pat) Kilmeen, Angela, Eileen Loughrea, Michael (Phyllis) New Inn, sister Pauline, her 18 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.

 

Minnie will lie in repose in Áras Mhuire Funeral Home, in the grounds of St. Killian’s Church, New Inn (H53P6C0) on Friday 24th April from 6pm – 8pm.

 

Minnie’s Requiem Mass will take place in St. Killian’s Church, New Inn, on Saturday 25th April, at 12 noon, followed by burial in Grange Cemetery.

 

Family flowers only.

 

Donations if desired to Palliative Care.

 

House private on Saturday morning by request.

 

Minnie ’s family would like to express their sincere thanks to their extended family, neighbours and friends for all their kindness and help.
