Winifred Robinson
(née Walsh)

Winifred Robinson (Griffith, née Walsh) Kilbegnet, Castletown, Gorey, Co. Wexford and formerly of Lisderg, Belmont, Co. Offaly. Died 4th April 2024 peacefully at her home. A cherished mother, grandmother and friend. Wyn's wit and warmth touched the lives of all who knew her. Predeceased by her beloved husbands Pat (Griffith) and Ron (Robinson), her parents Catherine and John Walsh (Cahir), brother Joe and sisters Agnes and Mary. Winifred is survived by her loving daughters Catherine, Leah, Jennifer, Oonagh and Deborah, her thirteen grandchildren and two great-granddaughters, nieces and nephews.

Wyn's legacy of intelligence, wit and love will endure through the many memories of those who knew her. Her independent spirit will be sadly missed.

Winifred will be reposing at Floods Funeral Home, McDermott Srtreet, Gorey (eircode Y25E8D4), on Saturday (6th April) from 11.30am with removal at 1.30pm to Christ Church, Gorey, for Funeral Service at 2.00pm. Burial will take place on Sunday (7th April) at 2.00pm at Clonmacnoise Cemetery, Co. Offaly.
