WINNIE OWENS (née Cooke) London, England and Lisnamult, Roscommon Town. August 7th, 2024; (Peacefully), surrounded by her loving family, in the exceptional care of Maureen and the staff of Beechwood House Nursing Home, Co Limerick. She is predeceased by her beloved daughter Sharon Scanlon and by her brothers and sisters. She will be very sadly missed by her son Gavin, daughters Gillian, Ashling Carr and Gemma McHugh, their father P.J., her sons-in-law Anthony, David and William, grandchildren Dean, Shannon. Megan, Alanna, Thomas, Jamie, Leah and Jake, great-grandson Michael, nephews, nieces especially Jackie Greally, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Winnie rest in peace.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Friday evening from 5 o’c until 7 o’c. Mass of the Resurrection in the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon on Saturday morning at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to CROI - DONATE HERE..
