peacefully at Mullingar Regional Hospital
3rd February 2026
Aged 58 years
Predeceased by his father in- law Austin Brennan
Survived by his heartbroken devoted wife Veronica, parents John and Lin Burdett brother Christian, mother in-law Nuala, sister in-law Colleen, brother in-law Rob, nephew Lachlan, niece Elodie, extended family members and a large circle of friends.

Mc Entee’s Funeral Home
Newmarket St. Kells (A82KOD7)
on Thursday 5th February from 4pm-7.30pm
Removal from funeral home on
Saturday morning at 10.30 am
to arrive at St Peter and St Paul's Church Clonmellon for funeral Mass at 11am which can be viewed on

followed by cremation at
Lakeland’s Crematorium Cavan
at 2pm

Zach will be fondly remembered as a colourful and charming person loved so much by his family and friends.
He was a leading member of
Kells Music Dramatic Society 76 and
Blue Mood Theatre and a previous member of the Inspire Gospel Choir.
Zach took an active role on stage over many years where he won the applause and appreciation of audiences near and far.
He was a true gentleman, a professional entertainer admired by young and old on and off the stage.
He was a valued former employee of Kellglass where he was appreciated by management and staff.
Zach was a lifelong Nottingham Forest Supporter and held a Season Ticket for 25 years
