 Aidan King

Riverstown, Birr, Offaly

The family of the late AIDAN KING wish to express their sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to extended family, friends, great neighbours and the community of Riverstown & Carrig for their kindness and support shown to us throughout the past year and at the time of our sad loss of Aidan, a much cherished son and brother.

Sincere thanks to all those who attended at the house, furneral services, sent and posted messages of condolences, Mass cards and those who travelled to be with us.  To all those who helped out in so many different ways, our sincere appreciation.

Our thanks to Garda Siochana from Birr and Borrisokane, Boyd Funeral Directors and Dr Darragh O’Hare for their support, and professionalism given to us during such a sad time.

Many thanks to Fr Anthony for his lovely prayers and kind words, at the funeral Mass, and those who assisted him.  To the choir, and especially Aidan’s friends who performed some beautiful music and singing.  To Denis for his lovely eulogy and Deirdre for helping us in preparing for the Mass.  Our sincere thanks to Fr Tom Hogan for his kind support.

Special thanks to Carrig & Riverstown GAA, Aidan’s teammates, his college friends, all his GAA friends, and all those friends and family who joined us to give Aidan such lovely heartfelt guard of honour, to his final resting place.

Also we would like express a huge thanks to the Carrig Hall Committee, who provided refreshments to all those who attended the funeral Mass.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Aidan’s First Anniversary Mass will be held on Sunday, 7th May 2023, at 9:30am in Church of the Annunciation, Carrig, Birr.
