I remember you as a child

Learning to walk or the first time you smiled.

Carefree and cute in beautiful dresses.

Wrapped up in Love and gentle caresses.

I see you in pictures upon our shelves.

Or framed on our walls with family and friends.

Of special occasions and golden times

Treasured forever fair Angel of mine.

I go to your room and sense you are near 

And recall the nights you spent styling your hair,

Echoes of laughter and chats on the bed

Resound in my heart, and stay in my head

For every day things bring you to my mind

A neighbour's kind words, A melody's rhyme

My memories of you Aislíng I cherish forever.
