Acknowledgement & First Anniversary
Died 30th July 2023
As we remember Alan on his first anniversary, his wife Caroline, the Kelly and Murphy families wish to thank most sincerely all who sympathised with us and supported us on our sudden and sad loss.
Thank you to our relatives, friends, neighbours, colleagues and to all who attended the funeral home, the Mass and graveyard, especially those how travelled long distances. Thanks to those who phoned, called to the house, sent messages, mass cards, flowers and online condolences; your thoughtfulness is very much appreciated. Thank you to those who watched the mass service online.
Our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Damian O’Mahony & Fr Alan O’Leary for celebrating Alan’s mass. Thanks to Brendan O’Halloran for his lovely singing and to Geraldine in the sacristy for looking after us.
A special thanks to Crowley Funeral Directors, Ballincollig for helping us arrange Alan’s funeral and burial. Your professionalism, support and kindness during this difficult time is greatly appreciated.
No amount of words can fully express our thanks to Prof Barry Plant and the CF Teams who looked after Alan over his lifetime, with such care, professionalism and friendship. Thanks also to Prof Liam Plant, the Renal Team in CUH and the Transplant Team in the Mater Hospital Dublin for your care of Alan. Special thanks also to CUH doctors and staff who attended to Alan in his final hours. At this time we also remember and are grateful for Alan’s organ donor RIP.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our gratitude.
Alan will be remembered at masses held in St Mary & St Johns Church Ballincollig at 6pm on both Saturday 27th July and Saturday 3rd August 2024.
Rest in Peace Alan
Memories are a gift to treasure
Ours of you will last forever.
