FIRST ANNIVERSARY
The family of the late Alannah O'Donoghue, a loving mother, daughter, niece & best friend, (late of Boyces street) who died on April 2nd, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised and shared condolences on the heartbreaking loss of Alannah.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to friends, neighbours and well-wishers who paid their respect to Alannah, those who attended Alannahs mass or watched via live stream and those who could not attend but provided emotional support for us at this very difficult time. For those who called, messaged, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolence, we will be forever greatful.
A special word of thanks to The Mercy Hospital emergency services , I.C.U staff & nurse Eileen, A special thank you to Theresa Spillane, also to Adrian Kenny, we give our sincere gratitude. A heartfelt word of thanks to Fr John of the North Cathedral for his kindness & compassion shown to our family throughout and after Alannahs Passing. A special thank you to Alannahs circle of childhood friends, who gave great comfort to the family even through their own loss. To Coughlans funeral Home, we will forever be in your debt, for you showed Alannah and her family, especially her children Billie, Kara & Harry, the utmost gentle care & dignity, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions.
A ROSE ONCE GREW WHERE ALL COULD SEE,
SHELTERED BESIDE A GARDEN WALL,
AND AS THE DAYS PASSED SWIFTLY BY,
IT SPREAD ITS BRANCHES, STRAIGHT & TALL....
ONE DAY, A BEAM OF LIGHT SHONE THROUGH,
A CREVICE THAT HAD OPENED WIDE,
THE ROSE BENT GENTLY TOWARDS ITS WARMTH,
THEN PASSED BEYOND THE OTHER SIDE.
NOW, YOU WHO DEEPLY FEEL ITS LOSS,
BE COMFORTED - THE ROSE BLOOMS THERE -
ITS BEAUTY EVEN GREATER NOW,
NURTERED, BY GODS LOVING CARE.
"If we all are alone, even then we are alltogether in that too"...
Alannah, You are missed so deeply and remembered so lovingly, & will be adored for eternity,
Our Beautiful girl, Love from your Heartbroken Family xoxoxox
