Predeceased by his Uncle Iggy.

Our Loveable Rogue.

Who passed away on Wednesday the 18th of December, 2019.

 

Alister’s parents John & Kierra, brothers William & Arthur, grandparents Noel & Sheila Kelly, Sally Adams & Seamus Mahon. Uncles Keith & James, Aunts Noreen, Liz, Ber & Therese, cousins, extended family and relatives, wish to express sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on our heartbreaking loss.

We offer our heartfelt appreciation to our many relatives, friends, neighbours, and for all who so kindly brought food and refreshments to our home, those who attended the wake, the removal, the funeral Mass and burial and to all those who provided help to us during this difficult time. For all those who travelled from near and far to be with us, sent floral tributes, sent cards and messages to offer condolences, we are very grateful.

A special word of thanks to Fr. William Moran & Very Rev Monsignor Cathal Geraghty. P.P., V.G. for the celebration of Alister’s Mass of the Angles, to Fr. Sweeney P.P., concelebrated Mass. To Andrea Treacy & Jeremy Quartermain whose music and beautiful singing created a very meaningful ceremony reflecting perfectly Alisters love of music, thank you.

Thank you most sincerely to the gravedigger Bryan Ryan who prepared our beloved Alister’s final resting place with such care and attention.

A special word of thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of University Hospital Galway, Main Street Clinic Loughrea, & Rosedale for their kindness and support at all times. Our thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff in Crumlin Childrens Hospital & Lauralynn and to all the healthcare professionals who took care of Alister during his short time.

Our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Sean Cleary and the staff in Kilboy’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism and support continuously throughout this sad time.

Thank you to the management and staff of Maggie May’s who provided the lovely meal after Alister’s funeral Mass.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As we cannot thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

 

Month’s Mind Mass

Alister’s Month's Mind Mass will be held in St Brendan’s Cathedral, Barrack Street,  Loughrea,
Co. Galway (H62 EH63) on Saturday, the 18th of January 2020 at 11 o’clock.
