The family of the late Alo Boyd would like to express their deep gratitude and appreciation to everybody who supported us during our recent sad bereavement.
A special thanks to our neighbours and friends who lined the road to the church and graveyard. This was very much appreciated during this difficult period.
To all who sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy, messaged and telephoned us, we thank you. Your words brought us much comfort when we were unable to meet in person.
A very special word of thanks to the caring, supportive and dedicated staff at the Camor Suite in Birr Community Nursing Unit and to Dr. O’Hare. You all gave Alo excellent care.
To Fr. Moorhead, Noel Quegan, Michael and Carmel Campbell we are very grateful for his beautiful Mass and wonderful send off.
A heartfelt thank you to Noeleen Keating whose help allowed us to mind Alo at home. Thank you to his friends who visited him and spent time with him over the past few years. Your friendship was a great comfort to him.
Thanks to the gravediggers and Donal Boyd Undertakers, for their sensitive and professional handling of arrangements.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Alo’s Anniversary Mass will be celebrated and streamed at 10.30am on Sunday 2nd May 2021 in Eglish Church, Birr.
Everyday in some small way,
Memories of you come our way,
Though absent, you are always near
Still missed, loved, always dear.
