First Anniversary

As we lovingly remember our beloved Andy, on this his First Anniversary, we his family would like to express our thanks and sincere gratitude to all who supported us on the sudden and unexpected loss of our dearest husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.

Sincere and heartfelt thank you to Rev Annmarie Stuart and Rev Isobella Keegan for your presence, prayers and guidance, for preparing and celebrating Andy’s funeral service at St Michael’s Church; to Rev Isobella for your prayers, strength and support at the crematorium for which we will be forever grateful, thank you.

While Covid restrictions limited visits to our home, we acknowledge with gratitude all your expressions of sympathy received through Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, phone calls, condolences online, thank you.

Sincere and heartfelt thank you to our families and wonderful friends, for your unbelievable strength and support for which we will be forever indebted.  To all those who helped in so many ways, bringing food, refreshments, floral tributes, photographs to our home, thank you, to our neighbours for all your kindness and support thank you.

To the Ambulance Service, Fire Service, An Garda Siochana, Dr Noel Mulligan who attended our home, thank you.

To all who travelled long distances from around Ireland and across the oceans to attend Andy’s funeral, to those who gathered on the roadway outside our home and stood out along the route to St Michael’s church, thank you.

To all Andy’s Golfing friends, Maine Valley Golf Club, Bunker’s Golf Society, Firies Golf Society, Farranfore Golf Society who turned out to form a guard of honour, we will be eternally grateful and thank you most sincerely for your kind and thoughtful gesture.

A special thanks to Flynn’s Undertakers for your sensitive and professional handling of arrangements, thank you.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude and appreciation.
