Acknowledgement
Andy’s children Margaret, Louise, Ann, Lorraine, Wayne, Nikita and Alanna, the family of his late son Robert, his brothers, sisters and all his family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who offered comfort and support throughout Andy’s passing and during the time since.
Thank you to those who called to the funeral home, those who attended Andy’s removal, funeral Mass and burial, to all those who sent Mass cards, floral tributes, letters and texts and those who expressed kind and comforting condolences online. Thank you to those who travelled long distances and to those who couldn’t be present but joined in the Funeral Mass via webcam.
Our heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and caring staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital for their great care throughout the past few years, to Arklow and South Wicklow Home Care Services for all their assistance, and to the Palliative Care Team who brought such comfort to Andy’s final days in the home he loved.
Our grateful appreciation to Fr. Martin Jose for his prayers, guidance and beautiful funeral Mass and to Michael Flood and Patricia Kavanagh for their wonderful music.
To our own extended families, our colleagues, neighbours and friends, your constant and continued support will never be forgotten.
Thank you also to Jason and Tom for tending to the grave, to Ken and his staff in The Gallery for his hospitality and to all at John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Andy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 1st March at 11.30am in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;
