The McCloskey and Branigan family would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with us on the sad loss of our beloved mother, wife and sister: Ann Branigan McCloskey of Castlecoo Hill, Clogherhead, Co. Louth who passed away peacefully on June 9th 2023.

We want to acknowledge your many kind expressions of sympathy and gestures shown to us on our great loss. We greatly appreciate your many kind and compassionate condolences.

Our sincere thanks to Clann Medical, the fantastic staff of OLOLH, HSE Palliative Care, carers and to Ann’s friends who gave such wonderful loving care to her throughout her illness.

Thank you to Fr. Aidan Murphy and Fr Pat Corcoran for such a beautiful, peaceful, complete and spiritually enriching Requiem Mass, to “4 in a Bar” for the beautiful music and to Townley Funeral Directors for perfectly balancing your gentle and dignified ‘hands-on’ undertaking services with affording us the space to peacefully grieve and mourn.

Our heartfelt thanks to Ann’s many wonderful friends for your guard of honour at St. Peter’s Church.

We also thank you everyone for your very generous donations to the Memorial Fund* set up in Ann’s name; for the benefit of the Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre.

The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Ann will be deeply and sadly missed; and always remembered.

Rest in Peace
