Ann’s sons Michael, Anthony and Gerard, her daughters Bernadette and Catriona and extended family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the many expressions of kindness, sympathy and support shown to them during their recent bereavement.

Mam was a deeply cherished and special lady. We are grateful for the richness of her life, the warmth of her heart and the joy she brought to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

We are particularly thankful to our relatives, neighbours and friends who provided unwavering support and love and brought laughter and joy when visiting Mam. 

Our sincere thanks to her exceptional carers, Imelda, Anne Marie and Mary who cared for Mam with such compassion and dedication. To Dr. Frayne, Catherine and Yvonne for their excellent medical care. To Edel and staff at Q-Health Pharmacy for all their help and advice. 

We are truly grateful to Paddy Coady and staff for their professionalism and kindness in handling Mam’s funeral arrangements. 

Our heartfelt thanks to our community, many friends, neighbours, colleagues and extended family for their kindness and support, your calls, Mass cards, letters, flowers and messages of sympathy have brought us much comfort. To everyone who travelled from near and far who called to our family home, attended the wake and funeral Mass and burial, and to those who participated in the Mass, we thank you. 

We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to Fr. Tom Corcoran for his regular visits to Mam, his guidance and prayers. To Fr. Tom , Fr. Sean O’Connor and Fr. Paddy Byrne who celebrated the funeral mass. A special word of thanks to Moneenroe Folk Choir for their beautiful singing and music.

Thank you to those who helped with parking and refreshments, to Railyard Football Club for the guard of honour and a special word of appreciation to Moneenroe Hall Hospitality Team.

Your thoughtfulness and kindness has been a source of strength to us during this difficult time. Mam would have been deeply touched to know just how much you all cared.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all with our sincere thanks.

Mam’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 22nd March at 6.00 pm in Sacred Heart Church, Moneenroe.
