Acknowledgement and First Anniversary

In loving memory of Ann Cooke whose first anniversary occurs on 07 April 2026.

Ann's family would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their enormous loss. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well wishers who visited our home, attended the wake, funeral service and burial and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, Mass cards and messages of condolences, also people who sent food and refreshments, we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to Bishop John Buckley, Fr. Sean O' Sullivan and Fr John Walsh of the Church of the Resurrection, Farranree, Aide De Comp, Micheal Martin, Jerry Murphy and family for the lovely singing at the Mass. Joe Coughlan Funeral Home for the kindness and professionalism shown to us. To our cousin Jason Cotter and Mayfield Garda station for providing a Garda escort for our Mam's funeral. 

Special thanks to Na Pairsaigh Hurling & Football Club for their support and attendance. To Colin O' Sullivan for the beautiful speech he gave at the Mass, for the lovely guard of of honour at the Club Pavilion and all the staff and everyone who helped with the refreshments. Thanks to the Sea Captains who was one of our Mam's favourite groups. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Anniversary Mass for our Mam, Ann and Dad Dinny on Saturday April 11th at 6.30pm in the Church of the Resurrection, Farranree.
