Months Memory Acknowledgment

Ann's daughters Linda and Sinéad, sons Mark, Niall and Alan, Nanny Ann's 14 grandchildren, together with the extended McEneaney families wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised and helped us following the sad and sudden loss of our cherished Mammy on the 08th October 2025. We wish to thank everyone who travelled near and far to both our home house and Lonergans Funeral Home for the wake and to all who attended Mammy's Funeral Mass and burial - we were overwhelmed by all the love shown to us and the many heart-warming stories told about Mammy. To everyone for the messages of condolences, phone calls, mass cards, sympathy cards, floral tributes, food, kind words, your memories, thoughts and stories of Mammy - they are all a great comfort to us all.

We'd like to express our appreciation to the paramedics, Garda Luke and Paul who came to Mammy that fateful morning and to Conor Clerkin (Lonergans work colleague) who attended to Mammy in the most respectful manner.

Thank you to Lonergan Funeral Directors for the dignified manner in which you carried out Mammy's funeral arrangements. For the support, professionalism, respect and guidance over the course of Mammy's wake and funeral. To the grave diggers who prepared Mammy's final resting place.

We wish to sincerely thank Canon Owen-Joe for tending to Mammy that Wednesday morning and giving her the last rights. For celebrating a beautiful Funeral Mass and making it so personal.

To Tom Clarke, Padraig O'Reilly and the choir for the lovely music during the mass and to Kate Clarke at the graveside. To the alter servers, Breda and Martin the Sacristans and the Eucharistic Ministers.

Thank you to Mammy's neighbours who provided a guard of honour when we took Mammy home on the Thursday evening and to the Housewives Club and Mammy's bingo friends in the chapel yard on the morning of her funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation.

Mammy's Months Memory Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 08th November at 6pm in St.Josephs Church, Carrickmacross and a live stream is available https://www.carrickmacrossparish.ie/our-parish/web-cam/
