We, the family of the late and much loved Anna Bonner of The Weavers, Ballybofey, wish to acknowledge the outpouring of sympathy, condolences and comforting gestures of kindness shown to us during our recent sudden and very sad loss.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to all the friends, neighbours and well-wishers who provided emotional and practical support during this difficult time. The visits, contact, prayers, cards, floral tributes and charitable donations, were all very much appreciated.

Thank you to the attending members of the Ambulance Service and An Garda Siochána for their kindness and respect shown to the family under difficult circumstances.

A special word of thanks to those members of the clergy who gave spiritual support through prayers, rosaries, and the poignant funeral mass and burial – Fr Kieran McAteer, Fr Anthony Briody of the Church of Mary the Immaculate, Stranorlar, and Fr Patsy Arkinson of St.Mary’s Church, Sessiaghoneill.

Many thanks to Alice Gildea for the beautiful singing and music, and to all the members of the family who participated during the mass.

Our thanks to Martin and Denise Harley and the staff of Cheers Bar, Ballybofey for hosting family and friends following the funeral.

Finally, we gratefully acknowledge Gerard and Gary of Gerard McCool & Son Funeral Directors for their sensitive and professional handling of the funeral arrangements, guiding us through the process to give Anna the farewell she deserved.

To all who helped in any way to support us through our loss and make it more bearable, we wish to express our deepest gratitude.

Anna’s Month’s Mind mass will be held on Saturday, 23rd April, during the 6.00pm vigil mass at the Church of Mary, the Immaculate, Stranorlar.

May she rest peacefully.
