Annie Berry

 Annie Berry
(née Murphy)

Arklow, Wicklow

Annie’s children Gerry, Margaret, Mary, Thomas, Jack, Ann, Paddy, Kathleen, Elizabeth & all her family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks for the overwhelming kindness, support & respect shown to them & their beloved Annie throughout her illness & at the time of her funeral.

Thank you to those who visited their home, attended Annie’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards, letters, texts & online condolences, to all those who travelled long distances & to those who couldn’t be present but joined in the celebration of Annie’s life via live-stream.

Sincere appreciation to Dr. Devereux & the team at Bradshaw’s Lane Surgery, to the kind staff of Allcare Pharmacy & to the exceptional carers who assisted Annie’s family in providing her with the comfort & dignity she truly deserved during her final weeks.

Very special thanks to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin & Fr. David Brough for their prayers & guidance, to Fr. Tom Clowe for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass, to Fr. Michael Murphy & the sacristy team at St. Joseph’s Church for their hospitality & to Karla Treacy & Bridget Kenny for such lovely music.

To Annie’s wonderful neighbours & friends a most heartfelt thank you, their kindness, compassion & generosity of spirit will never be forgotten.

Thanks also to the management & staff of The Harbour Bar for their hospitality, to Joe & Tom from RSS for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Annie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 29th February at 9am in Árus Lorcáin.

“Come Holy Spirit,

Enlighten my mind,

Purify my heart

And kindle in me

The fire of your Divine Love”
