As the late Anthony Thurlby’s first anniversary occurs 4 February 2022. I would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathized with myself and his family on our enormous loss.

I would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to Dr H Kelleher & staff, Professor S O Reilly & staff at CUH, staff at Marymount hospice for the exemplary care Anthony received during his illness. Also very worthy of thanks are Anthony’s colleagues at Cobh Fire Station, Cork County Fire Services, Cork Ambulance Services & Piper, Cobh Red Cross and Anthony’s great friend Toddy Stafford for their contributions to Anthony’s funeral service.

Not forgetting all those who sent cards, floral tributes and messages of condolences for which I am truly grateful.

Anthony will be deeply missed and always loved and remembered by myself and his family.
