Tony’s wife Norah, children Suzanne, Neil, Tony & Elaine & all his extended family wish to express their most sincere thanks for the huge amount of love & support shown to them throughout Tony’s illness, at the time of his funeral & in the weeks since.

To those who were in a position to visit our home & pay your respects, we thank you. Equally to those who, due to current restrictions couldn’t be present, we thank you for your phone calls, cards, letters, flowers & the thoughtful sharing of happy memories & loving messages online. We thank you for sharing in the celebration of Tony’s life via live-stream & for keeping him, & all of us in your thoughts & prayers.

Special thanks to the wonderful doctors, nurses & caring staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital, especially those in St. Joseph’s Ward, to Dr Bothwell, Dr Coates & all at Arklow Medical Practice, to the staff of Grants Pharmacy, to carers Bernie, Jenifer, Madeline & Robin & the district nurses, especially Claire for their wonderful care over the past few years.

Our heartfelt thanks to Fr Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his prayers, guidance & beautiful funeral Mass, to Patricia Kavanagh for her accompaniment & to our own Ella Healy for such fabulous music. Thanks also to Elizabeth Power & John Byrne for all their assistance at St. David’s Church.

To our own extended families, our wonderful neighbours, friends & colleagues, we cannot thank you enough for the amazing support, both practical & emotional, that you have shown to us.

Tony’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 6th December at 10am in St. David’s Church, Johnstown.
