Anthony’s wife Susan, his children Carol, David, John, Cathy & all our family would like to express our most sincere thanks for the kindness, sympathy & support we received at the time of Anthony’s sad passing & throughout the weeks since.
Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home, attended Anthony’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards, flowers & kind messages of condolence, those who travelled long distances, those who couldn’t be present but joined us via live-stream & those who donated generously to the Irish Cancer Society www.cancer.ie in Anthony’s memory.
Our heartfelt thanks to Fr. David Brough & Fr Sean Cotter for their comforting prayers & to Fr. Thomas O’Mahony for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass. Thanks also to the sacristy team at St. Patrick’s Church & to Karla Tracey & Bridget Kenny for such fabulous music.
Many thanks to the doctors, nurses & staff of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital for their great care throughout Anthony’s final weeks.
To our own extended families, our colleagues, neighbours & friends, your continued comfort & support will never be forgotten. To the members of Woodenbridge Golf Club, we thank you for your Guard of Honour, such a lovely tribute.
Thanks also to the management & staff of the Grasshopper Inn for their hospitality after the funeral, to Sam Donnelly for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
Anthony’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 7th May at 11.30am in St.'s Mary & Peter’s Church, Arklow. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;
