Antoinette Hallinan

 Antoinette Hallinan

Woodlawns, Enniscrone, Sligo

The family of the late Antoinette Hallinan of Woodlawns, Enniscrone, Sligo & Croydon, London, along with our extended families, wish to express our appreciation for the kindness we received over the past year.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to our amazing family, friends, work colleagues, neighbours and everyone who provided emotional and practical support. Those who brought food to the house to us during this difficult time & to Dr. Patrick MacSharry for your kindness. To all of Antoinette’s friends & work colleagues who travelled to be with us in our time of need, Thank You. We cannot thank everyone enough.

Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home, attended Antoinette’s removal, funeral mass & burial. Sent mass cards, letters & texts, those who shared happy memories & warm messages online, those who travelled long distances to offer comfort & support & all those who couldn’t be present but joined us in celebrating Antoinette’s life via webcam, and to those that made charitable donations, lined the streets & roads and organised the traffic flow, we are truly grateful.

We would like to express our gratitude to the Ambulance & Emergency services in Croydon, and all the Emergency doctors & staff who did their best. To The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, our eternal gratitude and heartfelt thanks for bringing Antoinette home to us. We would also like to express our gratitude to McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina, for their professionalism and compassion. To Fr Gerry O’Hora & Canon George Mc Hale for a beautiful Mass; Fr O’Brien & Rev. Karen Duignan for your prayers & kind words and Fr Kelly for offering Mass in Castleconnor. To Mark Duffy for all his help; Karina Hallinan, Michael McGowan, Maureen Maughan and Daphne Higgins for the lovely music.

To those who have helped us in any way over the past year, your contribution has made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.

They say there is reason, They say that time will heal, But neither time or reason Will change the way we feel. For no one knows the heartache, That lies behind our smiles, No one knows how many times, We have broken down and cried. We want to tell you something, So there won't be any doubt, You're so wonderful to think of, But hard to be without. We cannot bring the old days back, When we were all together, The family chain is broken now, But memories live forever x
